The Ghana Real Estate Fund (the Fund) is a segregated closed-ended cell of Soroma Ghana Funds PCC. The Fund plans to make long-term investments in Ghanaian real estate in response to the current acute supply-demand shortfall for all types of accommodation caused largely by sustained economic growth and a burgeoning middle class.
The fund may invest in land, residential, office, retail and hotel development within a 40 km radius of Ghana's 3 largest cities (Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi) with a particular focus on prime city centre sites and the accommodation needs of the nascent oil and gas sector. The fund is suitable for those with an aggressive risk appetite and who are seeking strong capital growth over a 5-year period. It is the intention to dispose of all Investments before winding up the Fund.
